Great Day for College Basketball

Looking for something to watch while you're snowed in?  Can't go wrong with any of the college basketball games on Saturday.

UNC is hosting no. 20 UNLV which just tipped off, and should be one of the better games of the day.  UNC is undefeated at home this season, but UNLV has been a pretty surprising team thus far, stay tuned to that on ESPN2.

Michigan, Louisville, Kansas, Syracuse, Ohio State, Illinois, Florida, Creighton, Butler and Kansas State make up the top 25 teams that take the court today.  Unfortunately, it doesn't appear any of them will be playing opponents capable of an upset, but games during Christmas break can really go either way.  No. 4 Louisville is taking on a downtrodden Kentucky team, but with the Cardinals only loss coming to Duke, they're much too strong to let Kentucky into the game.

The other close game could be between no. 20 Butler and Vanderbilt.  Butler is only a six point favorite, and Vanderbilt knows how to rock a house.  Again, a Christmas break game doesn't seem like a true home game, but we'll see how that goes come 8 p.m.

For any UConn fans out there, the no. 2 women tip-off against no. 1 Stanford out west, which should probably be the best game of the day, men's or women's.  The men face Washington which should be another tight game just like the Butler-Vandy game.

So kick back, relax and enjoy some of the nation's best teams in action on a Saturday.
